Umm, how did they fix the timing belt problem? The only cure I know of is
to replace it altogether with gears and to my knowledge that never happened
at the factory. Along this same thread I have a query. Is it not true that
all the engines (2.5, 200tdi and 300tdi) had problems with timing belts?
Since they have been around long enough now there must be opinions as to how
one remedies the situation. Obvious one being to replace the belt every 20K
or so. Anything else?
