    Don't be a foo! You might break something if you follow Jim's advice. (Sorry
    Jim... I couldn't resist the Foo pun) Take out the spark plugs and squirt
    penetrating oil into the cylinders. The oil should be left to sit for several
    days before you even mess with it again. Then put the tranny in 4th and rock
    the truck violently forward and back with a guy on each end. If that doesn't
    work, kick it while shouting obscenities, sit down, have a beer, squirt more oil
    in the cylinders, wait another week and try again.

    In the meantime, start reading the workshop manual section on engine overhaul
    'cuz if you're not sure if the engine should turn over on the starter without
    the sparkplug wires connected you're going to have to educate yourself in a
    hurry. Don't let it overwhelm you as these are the perfect vehicles to learn to
    turn a wrench on, and you have a huge and very helpful knowledge base here to
    help you resurrect your beast.
