OK. The first place to examine are all 6 of the tie rod ends. Then
check for play in the steering box (this can usually be adjusted out)
Next comes the steering relay. Check all the spring bushings for wear
including the ones in the frame. Look for loose U bolts. Finally check
the wheel bearing for correct adjustment.
When all this is in good condition your Land Rover will handle pretty
well and be mush more relaxing to drive.
