To get around this you need to let the tranny depressurize
completely. THis means shut it down for a minimum of 60
seconds per the BMW bulletin I read on the subject.
After you wait the appropriate amount of time restart but
do NOT engage any gears. If you engage any gears you
pressurize the clutches and the whole mess starts over
again.
