    Clamp the propshaft in a vise of some sort, and pound the
    buggering caps. They will come out, 'specially if you make
    sure to clean the cap areas first.

    Barring that, park one side of the yoke on an unyielding
    surface, then apply pressure to the other cap (with a BFH
    and a suitable drift). Once it breaks the caps loose then
    they should be more amenable to reasonable methods.
