    True, they are mostly the same as the British LRs, but our 4WD units
    have a 3litre 4-cylinder diesel (Isuzu) and the 6WDs have the same
    unit, but turbocharged. The 6WDs are also used as ambulances, mobile
    engineering workshops and specialised command and control units (and
    they really move fast). They were also experimented with for towing
    artillery pieces, but the Unimogs eventually won out on theat one.
