    Is this for a dual gauge (Oil Pressure/Water Temp.)? If so the "cable" is
    not a cable, but tube which transmits pressure from a reservoir of ether
    in the bulb to the gauge. Soldering it together will do no good. I would
    recommend sending it out to a specialty instrument shop such as MOMA in
    Albuquerque to be rebuilt.
