Werer it me. i'd drill 4 large holes in the corner of the
cut-out area and then Sawzall or jigsaw the material
between the holes.
THis sounds like the exact same setup that my old Bellview
has - except that's welded to the bumper from the back
instead of being angle/bolt on.
