    There are, however, dual-use batteries made for the marine
    market. Called start/deep cycle batteries they have the
    heavier structure of a deep cycle while still being usable
    for starting with no problems.

    I used one of these in Mr. C with his winch and never had a
    bit of difficulty with it (until it finally died of old age
    in storage). The one I had was an Evceready, not sure who
    it was made by. I'd check with my local Deka dealer - sure
    you can get something like it.

    The case size you want is Type 27F, or 27 if you've done
    the ground conversion to negative ground (F being reversed
    + and - poles if I remember correctly - been a while since
    I bought one of these).
