    Notices of this truck have been kicking about on the
    web for some time. It's a Brazilian licensed copy of
    an Eastern Block design. Looks okay except its IFS
    which takes it out of the rugged offroad vehicle
    category, IMHO.

    Glad to see that someone is finally making a diesel
    available with at least a little more displacement
    than 2.5L. Wish Rover would stick this engine in a
    Disco or a, heaven for bid, Defender. It looks like
    the TD5 is too puny at 2.5 liters and is apparently
    not up there on the reliability scale.

    Why don't all the SUV manufacturers stick in a 3-4
    liter turbo diesel?? Should be a way to get the tree
    huggers off their back on the mileage thing.
