You are wrong I am afraid to say. The two tapings lead to two separate
circuits inside the calliper. ISTR that one tapping feeds the top pistons
whilst the second feeds the bottom pistons, hence dual circuit for safety. I
have seen these callipers used with single circuit brakes by simply using a
"T" piece after the flexi hose to feed both circuits. This was on a comp
safari racer and it sure did stop well.
