    T'ain't perfect, but never was... Still needs one more spray of paint and a
    light buffing.

    Re: AlumaWeld (the aluminum/magnesium brazing/soldering product) - This
    would make a nice filling repair for a hole or tear if you could work on
    both sides of the panel. Since it has zero penetration - its solder,
    remember - it must have a backing to fill a defect such that it could be
    sanded flush.

    I resorted to a circular riveted plate to brace and strengthen the tear at
    the edge of the panel. The nature of the damage dictated something to
    minimize the flex that will occur at that weak spot.
