I found that a sheet metal deflector in front of the carb to keep the
air from the fan away from the Weber to be fairly effective and easy to
fabricate. A more complex duct to draw the air to the carb over to
manifold would likely be ideal. Perhaps a winter change to a salvaged
flat paper filter from another carbed vehicle would make this easier.
