That sounded a little involved Todd!
What exactly have you done to the rear tub, and how straight is straight
Keith?
If you just want something that has obvisouly been reshaped and straightened
but looks tidy then:
BIG G-clamps and big chunks of 10mm plate, finishing off by cutting the
panel/welding it back/grinding flush to remove stretch worked wonders for my
rear tub, which had had a corner capping reversed into something and the
corner moved in ~1", and had a gatepost punched through the side about 12"
from the fuel filler and dragged the full legnth of the wing. Annealing
sounded too much like hard work, and a coat of paint to make everything the
same colour hides a multitude of sins! Could find photos of it given time.
