They're engine specific. For something like a small block chevy,
it's not a problem to find a pushrod that's the right length (as long
as it's within about .200 of standard), diameter, and material for
the cam, rockers and valves in that engine. For the 2.25, I think
there are just two choices, one for 8:1 heads, and the other for 7:1.
Of course, a pushrod isn't exactly super high-tech, so if you needed
a set in a non-standard length your friendly racing engine machinist
could turn and case-harden a set for you.
