Bleed the clutch hydraulics, eh? I will have to look into how to do that in my Haynes owners workshop manual as I don't know how... The Master Cylinder is leaking a bit - this is related to the problem I suppose. I have a rebuild kit for the master cylinder but have not gotten around to doing this job yet. This is the source of the problem, possibly?

Bleed the clutch hydraulics, and before you do inspect for
leakage of brake fluid.
It's not unusual for working hydraulics to start leaking
when they get cold - I've seen this more than once on my
Rovers, before I got into the "shoot them - shoot them all"
mentality with hydraulic bits.
Bleed the clutch hydraulics and if that works - rebuild the
cylinders.
