    Absolutely Right.

    The mica needs to be flush with the copper and not undercut
    as some other starters are. Typically I dress this down
    before i turn/cut/polish the commutator on these starters,
    as the bumping of the cutting tool over themica screws up
    the clean cut of the copper.
