    Actually, Dave - I ended up reaming mine a skosh oversize
    and using slightly oversize pins. Worked a treat on Miss J.

    May well be. The one I use has a very small magnet which is
    fairly powerful - this helps.

    Maybe you need to jack the truck up to tilt the housing
    toward the opening? Then whack on it with a mallet to get
    it to resettle at the new low spot?

    Or how about a BIG magnet from the outside?
