    Hi Jan,

I've been in a similar position. SWMBO lost my one and only key...

To cut a long story short, all efforts to get a replacement key cut for my
110 were futile, and the replacement cost for a new ign lock assy was around
$260+. Oh well, I was going to cut it out and replace it with a hella
    switch.

I used a hacksaw blade, cutting away the aluminum collar (luckily it is
alloy at least in my 110) and I was able to get through both one shear bolt
and the other I cut about half way before I just pried the lower retaining
collar away and that snapped the other shear bolt.

I was wondering if maybe you had a spare key; you could then "cut" it off at
the point where the other one broke off and theoretically it should go in,
press the rest of the tumblers and allow the assembly to rotate and start
    the truck? Maybe?

When I cut my ign/steering lock off, the whole thing came off together, and
the ignition part was at the end and secured by some tiny screws.

    Hope it helps.

(Still keen to see some detail pics of your 110 doors, especially the middle
    pair)
