I have been thinking about this for my next Rover project.
A friend did the conversion in a Jeep with a 700r4 tranny and Dana 300
transfercase.
The engine will bolt to the TH trannies also. Have found someone that has
mounted a TH350 to a Series transfer case and used a Salisbury rear. So the
components are all there. Adapter from tranny to transfer will be the
hardest part.
Advanced adapters has a vortec kit that includes motor mounts and an engine
wiring harness.
My friend got the ecu from a Junk yard. Used headers and welded in a
threaded section for the O2 sensor. Rest of the sensors were on the engine.
