What about a V-6 like the the one from Chevy S-10's, the 4.3?L
Vortec? Torque for days, highway cruising with proper gearing,
nearly bomb-proof? A "simple" matter to mount the electrickery
somewhere safe from flooding. Even the non-vortec version would
be a reasonable choice. Anyone done one of these?
