    Garrick,
I'd try bleeding it some more (I put about 2 resevoirs worth of fluid
through my SIII clutch to get it bled). And I'd replace the flex line,
if you didn't do that while the motor was out. It could have a bulge
    that's causing your problem.

Check both the slave and the master for leaks--a bad cylinder in either
location could cause the problem you describe.

If none of the above stuff proves fruitful, you can do what I did
recently--I put a slightly longer-than-stock push rod in my slave
cylinder. Get a 6" long 5/16" fine thread bolt, cut the end off of it
and grind or file it round-ish. Thread the clevis thingmo onto the
bottom. Install it (from underneath is WAY easier than fiddling with
that bulkhead hole--that's just for bleeding) to check the length. Keep
shortening it a bit at a time til it takes up almost all the length from
the slave cylinder piston (at the extreme top end of its stroke) and the
clutch actuating lever (at the point where it begins to move the throwout
thingmo--i.e. as far down as you can move it by hand).

Hope that's helpful, and good luck,
    bill
