    Afraid I'm hanging on to my spares, but I never noticed the tube making
    a difference. The origional on mine had the tube. It also had a problem
    with the top cover, and when RN sent me another it didn't have the tube.
    I couldn't tell the difference when driving. I believe it's really a
    vent, not an overflow.
