I think this came up last year during a long thread about "dream garage" plans. I'm planning a leaf spring swap soon and need some advice about air compressor / air tool selection. I understand the oil-free compressors are loud as hell, so I know I want the "oiler" type. I've looked on several web sites and it's amazing the number of different configurations that are out there.

I'm looking for something very sturdy and powerful enough to run a grinder, and wrench (easy removal of spring shackle bolts and other rusted fasteners) and maybe even a paint gun at some point. Can any of you folks out there who have these and use them a lot give me some pointers?

    Thanks

    Ron Ward
