    The most effective way I've tried is to tie the tank to a concrete mixer and
    chuck in a shovelfull of broken toughened windscreen. Let the thing rumble
    round for a couple of hours then hoover out the glass/rust and apply
    whatever sealant you've chosen. Works beautifully #:o)
