None that I know of if it's the correct coil. It has to be intewrnally
ballasted to work as a plug-in replacement, else you will need to add an
external ballast resistor to the primary circuit.
I ran a Blue Bosch aftermarket hi-power coil in Mr. C. for many many
thousands of miles with no problems whatsoever on both the original points
setup and a Pertronix Ignitor.
