Yet another one for the list - Father Hood with Patrick Swayze features
a gold coloured Range Rover in the opening scene.

Your dealer is feeding you a line. Of four 96 Discos on the local lot, the
only one which is not the fully loaded SE7 model is Beluga Black. This truck
is an auto, but it is otherwise the base truck (list is $32,025).

Karl,

you are quite correct, I have just bought a workshop manual which covers
the LT85, this was the first I had heard of this one but I don't have any
experience with the 5-speed, just hearsay, or perhaps heresy.

I'll post a copy of this to the list also.

Cheers.

I'm probably the heretic that spread this.... Like wise the lt85 in both
heavy-duty and light-weight form was unknown to me. Should stick with what
I'm sure of i spose.

Early Rangies, came with lt77's/lt230?'s, at least according to the
advertising fliers, I kinda assumed that this would be what was fitted to the
110's. (oh well)

Lt77's are derived from rover car boxes right???

Are lt85's derived from the "santana 5spd"???? or is the term "santana boxed
110" describing something else again????
