    Oh yes, about 20 years ago I had a major accident (some silly bugger T-boned
    me right on my B pillar, which smacked me against the side of the head)
    leading to severe internal bleeding and eventually a blood clot pressing
    against the brain and a 2 week coma.

    Some of my kinder friends say that this all explains a whole lot...
