When changing from neutral to first (with clutch depressed) in my SIIA gearbox
it more often then not has the feel that the gears were spinning and they take
a bit of grinding before it goes in nicely,
its not a tragic kind of grinding or anything but can be done quite gently
is this something that is typical of non synchromesh gearboxes or is there a
special method to prevent this?
It doesnt feel like im breaking anything due to there being no load on it
