I've just acquired a used set of 'Birtax' three point retracting seatbelts
for my 1961 SII 88.
The SII did not originally have seat belts at all. When I first got it 7
years ago, I installed the mounting brackets behind the center bulkhead and
at the side for a set of lap belts. I'm not really sure where/how the 3
point system would mount. Does anyone have any pictures of a 3 point system
in an 88? Web page or e-mail is fine. Any good verbal descriptions would
help too!
I'd particularly like to see pics of where the retractor spool goes, and
where / how the shoulder strap mounts to the roof sides.
