What is it with the LR 6-cylinder engine?
Is there an intrinsic weakness in this design, or is it
just manufacturing tolerances that cause them problems?
I must confess adding a Dormie to the fleet in place of my
58 88 has crossed my mind more than once, but I don't know
if I want to put up with the foibles of the LR 6-pot motor.
And before anyone mentions the word "conversion" you know
how I feel about that....don't go there.
