I'm not sure about prices in the States, but the easy answer is to decide
how much you can spend then look at every Ser 2/2a/3 you can find close
enough until you find the best for the money.
Here in the UK you can find a 2 that beats every 3 you find into a cocked
hat, or vice versa.
Land Rovers are not like other vehicles. It all depends on previous owners,
salt on the roads, usage and a million other variables.
Whatever you get you will soon want to change it to your own way of thinking
and driving.
You want to coil it, add a V8, truck cab it, hard top, rag top?
You can do all of those...
