    Yeah, I heard that too. It's been done tho... The engine's well engineered,
    robust, ubiquitous (around here, anyway).

    Didn't the benz diesels have oil pan clearance issues with the front axle
    and odd-angle oil feed issues when used in LRs? Might be an urban legend,
    but I remember them being talked about about five or more years back. Could
    have been a lesser list, though.
