I bought the engine from a diesel engine shop in the US. They got the
engine from Ford who brought in a few of these engines to inspect. I ran
into the engine while looking at other diesel engines. I did some research
and really liked the engine. I like the size, reliability, torque, hp and
other things. The large down side is the lack of manufacturer support in
the US. Only 2 distributors and they don't mess with the Sprint models
because they are not used in any vehicles in the US. I knew I'd run into
fitting issues and other problems, but I like challenges and getting
everything working right is part of the fun.
