I just bought my first landy after being in many before. I got a defender 90
td5 S reg.
We have had a bit of rain but the light on the dash saying theres water in
the fuel and to seek garage help is on.
Sometimes after a while it goes off, but sometimes it stays on for all of my
journey. On tdi engines i believe you can drain this water off from a filter
and was wondering can i do the same on my td5 without having to take to an
expensive dealer. Someone told me that water condenses on the fuel tank and
this is why it happens. is this true?
Any help please :)
Thanks
Dave
