Doubt that you'd want to. I recently bought a 2003 Toyota
with a 1.8L DOHC 4 that puts out 135 hp (no Audi - but it
gets 38mpg) - at something like 4800 rpm. That's fine for
electronically controlled automatics, but wrestling high
revs in a series truck would be annoying. You want'em low
rpm torque, and lots of it. The 2.25 is reasonable in this
regard.
