Fellow listers,
I'm doing a frame over, and I need to remove my steering relay. I ground off
the bolt heads on the collar, but I can't get the collar off the frame without
it starting to bend. I don't want to destroy it, because I'll still need it
even if I buy a new relay. Anyone have some suggestions on how to remove it
non-destructively? Is it perhaps a press fit on the bottom of the relay
itself? I'm a little afraid of heating it because of the spring inside the
relay, but that's the only thing I can think to do. Any suggestions are
appreciated, as always!
Happy and Prosperous New Year to all!
