     Hi all,

Was out today tootling around the fields, cleaning up ice damage. Now, the
main gear shift lever pivots around abnormally, but will still shift gears if
    you know where they are.

It looks like the grub screw that holds the ball in place has fallen into the
slot in the ball! What's worse, it appears that there are no threads left in
the hole where the screw belongs.

    Questions:
    1. Did the SII gearshift lever have threads for the grub screw or were they
    just press fit?

    2. Any good solutions to this mess besides removing the gearshift lever,
disassembling it just to get the screw out and then figuring out a way to
    hold the slot in place?

Jeez, This looks like a SPOT, but if it was, I've been functioning well with
    it for 6 years!

    Nate
