If I were you, and I have done this a couple of times, I
would make a copy of the proper wiring diagram for your
vehicle and take the time to go through the entire
harness at least once making sure that all of the wires
are attached to the proper terminals on each component
(per color code) and that all of the connections are
clean and secure. Make especially sure that all of the
ground connections are in place and secure. Don't even
connect the battery until you have done this. Check off
each point on the diagram as you go. Also check for
damaged insulation and frayed wires and repair any that
are not safe.
Doing this job in a haphazard manner puts you in danger
of damaging your electrical system. One crossed wire at
the wrong place or time can cook a major portion of the
harness. Some components may not react well to being
wired improperly.
I sense from your questions that you have not done this
and therefore don't know where power feeds for some of
the components are located. Educate yourself or start
saving up for a new harness.
Good luck.
