    Alan and Dave:

You're right, I have the push button. The schematic I
was looking at (in the Rovers North catalog, that's
the last time I'm looking at that) had a solenoid for
the positive-grounded car. I'm going to just use my
old book that came with it from now on.

Anyway, I will look at the starter button itself. I
know there are two main wires going into it. Without
directly looking at it, since I'm at work right now, I
believe the negative battery cable connects to the
left side and the wire going to the starter is on the
    right.

Alan: the brown wire. Is this the one that goes on the
negative clamp? I know that there is a smaller wire
there, along with the main wire, because we
electrical-taped one in. I will check to see where
this goes. It should be on the left side (if you're
looking at it from the engine compartment) of the push
    button, correct?
