I removed the sump for a new seal and found that the old seal is held in
place with some *MoD adhesive*, and that stuff is as hard as the steel
sump! Last night I gave up after a few inches since I needed a better
scraper. Then I thought maybe there is an easier way, like some sort of
gasket softener/remover. Any suggestions? (Oh, and I don't think I have
anything large enough for the sump to soak in.)
