I once had a bad experience with using something you can hardly see, a
black rubber mudflap in front of a black radiator. I didn't drive the
vehicle for quite a while after that one time I put the mudflap in. In
fact it was a hot summer's day and I had long forgotten about the
mudflap. I couldn't figure out why it was overheating so badly. I
changed thermostats, then removed it altogether. Finally decided to pull
the radiator after flushing it in the car didn't help. Out falls the
mudflap. DOH!!!!! I will only use cardboard now.
