    True enough, but not many years ago, several people around the country did
    land office business with renumbered LRs. Take a dodgy 85 swb series three,
    scrap out a 67ish series 2a and affix the plate and ship it on over to the
    yanks. I saw many of these and worked on most of them for one importer. Funny
    thing is, folks who should have known better would pay in the teens of
    thousands for these trucks based on a web page description.
