Sometimes it is just a round piece of glass that spins, no wiper blade
needed. The water that contacts it is flung off due to the (physicists
correct me here:) centripetal/centrifugal force.
The new ones are edge-driven and don't have the motor in the middle. A pair
would work on a series... Now that's something to take through Safety Check!
It would impart the scholarly bespectacled look to a truck.
