Ok, I finally got the big problems from the rally sorted (Paddocks was
holding my shipment over an impulse purchase, btw they have cheeeap take off
axles and the new ones are fair as well (~$15 for old and $30 for new
Salisbury)). On the drive home the speedo has stared to act up so I
disconnected it (we don't need no stinking speed). Two months on I had
forgotten the symptoms so I put some lubricant down the cable and
re-attached it, the speedo now works but the odometer is not doing anything.
Is this a) a dying cable, b) a dying meter (heaven forbid, that dash is a
mess) c) operator error (that never happens :) ) d) none or all of the
above.
Thanks and keep the madness flowing
