Before spending
#ss evaluate the overall condition of the engine.
If the bores, pistons and bottom end are all tired any work done to the
top end will not have the full benefit and may lead to early demise to
the entire engine.
It is possible that the knocking under load is caused by advanced
ignition. If this is the case then the power will be reduced
considerably.
Give the beast a full tune up before opening your wallet.
