    >In 2wd, large/red knob lever forward, pushing down on yellow knob engages
4wd high and knob will remain down. In 4wd low, large/red knob lever back,
the yellow knob is released and pops up. Yellow knob will stay down until
you move large/red lever back in 4wd low.

On my SIII, there is a plate riveted to the firewall in front of the transmission
tunnel that explains the positions and functions of the 4wd controls, as well
as gives towing (the vehicle) instructions. Is this a rarity, or have most Land
Rovers just lost these plates over the years?
