Further indication that something's wrong with my light - on the drive home
this afternoon, it started staying on longer and longer. Now it's
complaining the moment that oil pressure drops below 40 psi. Definitely not
right. I'll be looking in to that one. I suspect foreign matter in the
sender, despite my care during the spin-on adaptor installation. The gauge
is still behaving as I believe oil pressure should behave, so I'm taking
that as being the correct one. I'll take a gauge over an idiot light any day.
The engine is showing no signs of distress or unhappiness unlike the driver
in this blasted heat!
