    Any relation to walking?
    Seems we in the US are taught to walk down the right hand side of the hall
    when in school. And builders always set the escalators in pairs, and the
    one you are using is on the right. Every one going in the opposite
    direction is on the left. Same with mechanical walkways.
    How is this handled in places were they drive on the left?
