The way I did it was to take a plastic ruler, lop it down to exactly 10",
stick it across the diameter of the drum and measure the gap with feeler
gauges. Taking them to the autoparts place would probably have been easier.
88 drums are pretty cheep though, and they make a massive difference in
stoping.
